Ninna-ji 仁和寺

Ninna-ji is a Buddhist temple of the Shingon sect’s Omuro School, located in the north-west of Kyoto. Construction began in 886 and was completed in 888 by Emperor Uda. The temple is known for its imperial-style residence, cherry tree park, and gardens.
