Adashino Nenbutsu-ji Temple is known for its 8,000 Buddhist statues arranged in rows. During the summer, these statues are illuminated by candles for the “Buddhist Memorial Service with a Thousand Lanterns.” In autumn, visitors can see the statues alongside the fall foliage.
