Kamigamo Shrine 上賀茂神社

Kamigamo Shrine is one of Kyoto's oldest and most important shrines, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It predates Kyoto's establishment as the national capital. The shrine features two sand cones on its grounds, used for purification rituals since ancient times.
