Genko-an is a temple in Kyoto's Takagamine district. Tetsu'o Giko, the second abbot of Daitoku-ji Monastery, founded the temple in 1346. The temple's main hall, built in 1694, has a ceiling made from wood that was once a blood-stained floor in Momoyama Castle.
