Kōmyōzen-ji Temple 光明禅寺

Komyozenji is a Zen Buddhist temple of the Rinzai sect, established during the Kamakura Period. It features two abstract rock gardens: a smaller front garden with fifteen rocks arranged to form the Japanese character for "light," and a larger rear garden that includes plant life, with moss and stones representing land and water. The temple is known for its autumn leaves in mid-November.
