Zuiganji Temple 瑞巌寺

Zuiganji Temple, a Zen temple in the Tohoku Region, was first established in 828 as a Tendai sect temple. It was later converted to a Zen temple during the Kamakura Period. The feudal lord Date Masamune rebuilt it in 1609 as his family temple.
