Nakamura House 中村家住宅

The Nakamura Residence in Okinawa is a historic site that showcases pre-war Okinawan domestic architecture. The building, believed to have been constructed in the mid-18th century, combines elements of samurai-class residences with traditional farming structures like a storehouse, barn, and livestock sheds. It was designated an Important Cultural Property by the Ryukyu Government in 1956 and later by the Government of Japan in 1972.
