Saihoji (Moss Temple) 西芳寺(苔寺)

Saihōji Temple, also known as Kokedera, is a garden in Kyoto. The temple was founded in the 700s as a temple of the Hosso Sect of Buddhism. In the 1300s, the temple was converted to the Rinzai Sect of Zen Buddhism.
