Hakata Machiya Folk Museum 博多町家ふるさと館

The Hakata Machiya Folk Museum in Fukuoka shows daily life and culture from the Meiji and Taisho periods. It is located across from the Kushida-shrine. The museum features the local tradition of Hakata Gion Yamakasa and offers demonstrations of traditional hand crafting.
