Shikinaen Royal Garden 識名園

Shikina-en Royal Gardens are located on a small hill south of Shuri Castle in Naha, Okinawa. The gardens were created in 1799 for a residence of the Ryūkyū Kingdom's rulers and were used to host a Chinese envoy the next year. The design combines Japanese and Chinese elements, featuring a pond with islands, a hexagonal pavilion, and arched bridges.
