Nishi Chaya District にし茶屋街

Nishi-Chaya is one of three historical teahouse districts in Kanazawa. It was established in 1820 as a place for geiko to entertain clients. The area still has traditional wooden teahouses, some of which are now shops or cafes, while others continue to operate as geiko parlors.
