Toshoji Temple Ruins

Tōshō-ji was a family temple for the Hōjō clan in Kamakura. Hōjō Yasutoki built it in 1237 to honor his mother. The temple was destroyed in 1333 when the Hōjō clan set it on fire and committed suicide during an invasion.
