Sakurai Shrine 櫻井神社

Shrine · Day trip from Fukuoka

Sakurai Shrine is located in northern Itoshima. Tadayuki Kuroda of Fukuoka Domain established the shrine in the early Edo period. Its main hall, built in 1632, has detailed joinery and colorful sculptures.
