Kurobe Dam 黒部ダム

Kurobe Dam, completed in 1963 after seven years of construction, is Japan's tallest dam, standing 186 meters high. The dam supports a hydropower plant, providing electricity to the Kansai Region. It is also a popular attraction along the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, known for its daily water discharge from late June to mid-October.
