Tobacco and Salt Museum

The Tobacco and Salt Museum in Tokyo's Sumida-ku opened in 1978 and is operated by Japan Tobacco. It houses approximately 38,000 artifacts illustrating the history of tobacco and salt from Japan and other countries. Exhibits include a large block of rock salt from Poland and a replica of a Mayan shrine.
