Hama-rikyu Gardens 浜離宮恩賜庭園

Hama-rikyu Gardens is an Edo-period garden in Tokyo that was completed during the time of the 11th Tokugawa shogun. It features a central pond, the Tide Inlet Pond, which connects to the sea, allowing water to flow in and out with the tide. The garden opened to the public in April 1946, after serving as a feudal and imperial retreat for centuries.
