Tashirojima (Cat Island) 田代島

Tashirojima, also known as Cat Island, is a small island located off the coast of Ishinomaki. The island has a large population of cats, outnumbering its human residents. It is also called Manga Island because of a camping resort with cat-shaped cottages featuring artwork by manga artists.
