Jozenji-dori Avenue 定禅寺通

Jozenji-dori Avenue is a tree-lined street in central Sendai, named after Jozenji Temple, which no longer exists. The avenue features zelkova trees that change with the seasons and a central promenade with benches and sculptures. Shops and restaurants line the street, which also hosts events like the Jozenji Street Jazz Festival.
