USS Emmons Wreck Dive USSエモンズ（沈船ダイブ）

The USS Emmons was a destroyer launched in 1941 and reclassified as a high-speed destroyer minesweeper in 1944. During World War II, it participated in operations in the Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Pacific, including the D-Day landings and the invasion of Okinawa. The ship was sunk on April 7, 1945, after being heavily damaged by kamikaze attacks, resulting in 60 crew members killed and 77 wounded.
