Mount Wakakusa (Wakakusa-yama) 若草山

Mount Wakakusa, also called Mount Mikasa, is a 342-meter-high hill east of Nara Park in Nara, Japan. The mountain is inaccessible from December 12th to March 17th. Each year, on the fourth Saturday of January, the dead grass on the mountain is burned during the Yamayaki festival.
