Zenkō-ji Kyōzō (Sutra Repository) 信州善光寺経蔵

The Kyōzō Sūtra House at Zenkōji Temple was constructed in 1759. This building is a large, square structure with five bays on each side and features an octagonal revolving sutra library inside. The exterior is unpainted wood, but the sutra library is finished in black lacquer, and its decorative elements are brightly colored.
