Teramachi Temple Area 寺町寺院群

The Teramachi Temple Area is one of Kanazawa's three temple districts. The Maeda family, who governed the Kaga Domain, gathered approximately 70 temples in this area when they established the castle town. Larger temples line the main street, while smaller ones are found on back streets.
