Kanazawa City Ashigaru Museum (Ashigaru Shiryokan) 足軽資料館

The Kanazawa City Ashigaru Museum displays two of the oldest surviving ashigaru houses. Ashigaru were low-ranking samurai foot soldiers in feudal Japan. The museum includes the Takanishi Family House and the Shimizu Family House, which were moved to this location in the 1990s.
