Sakurajima International Volcanic Sabo Center 桜島国際火山砂防センター

The Sakurajima Sabō Office, also known as the International Volcano Sabō Center, monitors information about debris flows and volcanic activity on Sakurajima. It provides this information to local governments and construction personnel. The center also serves as an evacuation facility during disasters and has exhibits where visitors can learn about Sakurajima's volcanic activity.
