Shukkei-en Garden 縮景園

Shukkei-en is a historic Japanese garden in Hiroshima. Construction of the garden began in 1620, ordered by Asano Nagaakira. Ueda Sōko, a tea master and chief retainer to Lord Asano, built the garden. The garden was damaged during the nuclear attack on Hiroshima and reopened in 1951 after renovations.
