Kawabata Shopping Arcade 川端商店街

The Kawabata Shopping Arcade in Fukuoka is a historic merchant area in the Hakata district, with a history spanning over 130 years. It consists of two arcades, Kawabata Chuo Shopping Arcade and Kami-Kawabata Shopping Arcade, which together are 400 meters long. The arcade features more than 130 stores, including apparel shops, restaurants, and specialty stores, and sees over 10,000 visitors daily.
