Yufuin Onsen (hot spring district) 由布院温泉

Yufuin is a small town located in a basin surrounded by mountains that are about 1000 meters high, including Mount Yufu. The area is rich in water and hot springs. Visitors can enjoy the changing seasons, from cherry blossoms and canola flowers in spring to the misty mornings of autumn and the ethereal fog rising from Lake Kinrin in winter.
