Statue of Aburaya Kumahachi 油屋熊八の像

The Statue of Aburaya Kumahachi is located in front of JR Beppu Station. It depicts Aburaya Kumahachi, who is considered the "father of Beppu tourism." The statue shows him with a big smile and both hands raised high.
